12th post : MyMode – Halal atau Haram?

Program SMS Prepaid Terunggul Dari MYeCASH

10th post : Second Malaysia match confirmed

The club have confirmed they will play a second game against a Malaysian XI on Monday evening (20 July) in Kuala Lumpur following the cancellation of their visit to Indonesia.

The Reds had been due to fly to Jakarta on Saturday evening after their opening tour game, but Friday's terrorist attacks in Indonesia resulted in the trip being cancelled.

Julian Kam, CEO of ProEvents, the tour organisers, revealed further details on United's second match in Malaysia at Saturday's post-match press conference.

"The game will take place on Monday 20 July at 20:45 local time (13:45 BST) again at the Bukit Jalil Stadium. Looking at the tremendous reception the team have received in Malaysia, and the capacity crowd on Saturday evening, we believe many fans will be eager to watch the team play again. A second match will give fans who missed out first time round another chance to watch the players in action, and those who would like to watch them again can also do so.

"Fans from the UK who have bought tickets to watch the match in Indonesia can exchange them for new tickets for Monday's game in Malaysia. Similarly, fans in Indonesia who bought tickets for the match in Jakarta can also exchange them to watch the game in Kuala Lumpur. We have arranged for 3,000 seats in the stadium to be allocated for these purposes.

"Fans can exchange their tickets at a special counter at the green gate at the Bukit Jalil Stadium which will be open on matchday from 12:00 to 19:00 (both local time)."

He said there will only be two types of tickets sold for the match on Monday, comprising RM308 for grandstand and RM58 for free seating.

Tickets can be purchased from ticket counters from Sunday onwards, starting at 12 noon, he said.

jom gegar STADIUM BUKIT JALIL lg skali..!!!

9th post : The Basics About Chrome OS

After posting several blog paragraphs about its planned operating system that stirred up equal parts excitement and uncertainty, Google clammed up, refusing to provide details on its strategy, or even basic technical information. Here's what we do know. Chrome OS is being built on Linux, though Google hasn't said which flavor, and the software is due to be released to the open source community later this year. Google's aiming first at users of consumer netbooks, for people who spend most of their computing time online and in the browser, with an emphasis on simple, secure, and fast Web access. People won't be able to install client-server apps on Chrome OS, so users will have to depend on Web tools such as Google Docs and online versions of Microsoft Office. Google will provide the OS on full-powered PCs after netbooks. It's treating Chrome OS as a separate project from Android, its Linux-based smartphone OS. Netbooks--low-cost, portable computers whose main function is Web surfing--that run Chrome OS are supposed to be available in the second half of 2010. Chrome OS will be free and run on x86 and ARM chips. Google released a list of partners that will build devices for the platform, including Acer, Asus, Freescale, Hewlett-Packard, Lenovo, Qualcomm, Texas Instruments, and Toshiba. HP's statement on the partnership was more shoulder-shrug than endorsement. "HP wants to understand all the OS choices in the marketplace that may be used by its competitors, and remains open to considering various approaches to meet its own customer needs. We want to assess the capability Chrome may have for the computer and communications industries, and so we are studying it." HP says it doesn't discuss products that "may or may not be under way."

mcm mne je OS nih..

7th post : Nokia Exec: The N97 Will Beat The iPhone 3GS

"Have you even used the N97?"

This is classic. There's nothing like an executive bad-mouthing a competitor's product. Here's what Loughran said:

"The new iPhone is an evolution rather than a revolution and for people trying to decide whether to get a Nokia N97 or an iPhone, it comes down to a decision on performance and value for the money. The new iPhone seems to have the same design and color, upgrading from a sub-standard two-megapixel camera to a still low 3.2 megapixel camera, and is probably a disappointment for many people, given the high tariff and lifetime ownership costs."

Um, what?

First off, Mr. Loughran is from the U.K. I am not familiar with the subsidized cost of the N97 nor the iPhone over in the U.K., nor what tariffs the respective wireless carriers are charging on a monthly basis for those two devices. I have a hard time believing that the sale price of the devices are all that different, however. In the U.S., the iPhone 3GS can be bought for as little as $200. The N97? Try $700. Leaving that cost argument aside (because we can't produce an apples-to-apples comparison), there are more holes we can poke in Mr. Loughran's statements.

It is true that the iPhone 3G's 2 megapixel was bordering on sub-par. The new 3.2 megapixel camera, in comparison, takes excellent pictures and beats the pants off of the 3.2 megapixel cameras I've tested in several Nokia phones (E71, 5800 XpressMusic). Furthermore, the 5 megapixel camera of the N97 performed just as bad as the iPhone 3Gs's camera in low-light situations -- even though it has a flash.

Loughran is right to point out that the iPhone 3GS is exactly the same shape and colors as the iPhone 3G. This isn't necessarily a bad thing. To whit, the iPhone has been imitated by just about every phone manufacturer on earth -- including Nokia!

Beyond all of that, however, is the usability of both devices. The N97 and its S60 5th Edition software are horrid across the board. It is extremely underpowered, slow to respond and the user interface is the worst, half-baked thing I've encountered in a long time. From a day-to-day usability standpoint, the iPhone 3GS is a clear winner.

According to the report in Symbian-Freak.com, the N97 is off to a solid start in the U.K. U.K.-based operator O2 has said that the iPhone 3GS is its best-selling iPhone model to date.

Which will win? We're going to have to wait for quarterly report from both Nokia and Apple to find out.

5th post : Google Chrome OS: Vaporware Or Victory?

In announcing its forthcoming Chrome OS open-source operating system for netbooks and other computers, Google is attempting to create the cloud computing future that it's predicting.
...
What Google can do with that kind of insight is prepare for a world where software runs in the cloud. And if, in the process, Microsoft's business model gets kneecapped by a free open-source operating system that offers a better user experience and stronger security than Windows, you can bet no one at Google will shed a tear.

what do u all think bout this statement...?? can google beat microsoft with Chrome OS..??
pls leave ur comment..

3rd post : What is SPAM..??

Spam is flooding the Internet with many copies of the same message, in an attempt to force the message on people who would not otherwise choose to receive it. Most spam is commercial advertising, often for dubious products, get-rich-quick schemes, or quasi-legal services. Spam costs the sender very little to send -- most of the costs are paid for by the recipient or the carriers rather than by the sender.

There are two main types of spam, and they have different effects on Internet users. Cancellable Usenet spam is a single message sent to 20 or more Usenet newsgroups. (Through long experience, Usenet users have found that any message posted to so many newsgroups is often not relevant to most or all of them.) Usenet spam is aimed at "lurkers", people who read newsgroups but rarely or never post and give their address away. Usenet spam robs users of the utility of the newsgroups by overwhelming them with a barrage of advertising or other irrelevant posts. Furthermore, Usenet spam subverts the ability of system administrators and owners to manage the topics they accept on their systems.

Email spam targets individual users with direct mail messages. Email spam lists are often created by scanning Usenet postings, stealing Internet mailing lists, or searching the Web for addresses. Email spams typically cost users money out-of-pocket to receive. Many people - anyone with measured phone service - read or receive their mail while the meter is running, so to speak. Spam costs them additional money. On top of that, it costs money for ISPs and online services to transmit spam, and these costs are transmitted directly to subscribers.

One particularly nasty variant of email spam is sending spam to mailing lists (public or private email discussion forums.) Because many mailing lists limit activity to their subscribers, spammers will use automated tools to subscribe to as many mailing lists as possible, so that they can grab the lists of addresses, or use the mailing list as a direct target for their attacks.

(For more information about the origin of the term "spam", and the formal definitions of Usenet spam, see J.D.Falk's excellent Net Abuse FAQ)

2nd post : R.I.P. Michael Jackson, King of Pop.

Goodbye Michael Jackson: Star, brother, friend, father.

Watch Paris Jackson give a tearful goodbye »

An 11-year-old girl who lost her father made the world cry with her on Tuesday.

"Ever since I was born, daddy has been the best father you could ever imagine," said Paris Katherine Jackson, the second of Michael Jackson's three children, as a massive memorial service for her father neared its end in downtown Los Angeles.

"And I just want to say that I love him so much," Paris added, before breaking down in tears and burying herself in the arms of her aunt, Janet Jackson.

Her aunts, uncles and two brothers who were on stage at the Staples Center arena reached over to console Paris. Thousands of mourners in the audience dabbed their eyes with tissues.

It was the first time they had heard from a girl who, along with her two siblings, have often been hidden by veils or blankets when seen with their father.
